Happy Sunday. Forgive the cliché, but we genuinely have a lot going on at the moment — with the Slack receipts to prove it. In addition to the wedding NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch referred to as “an event we are tracking at Madison Square Garden” (more on that below), here’s what else is on my radar:

Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today to bring you the news even your most offline friend probably knows already: Taylor Swift is officially a married woman. After months of speculation, she and Mr. Americana (sorry, Travis Kelce) tied the knot in a big, fat, star-studded wedding on Friday night at New York’s Madison Square Garden. In addition to all the usual suspects — all 1,000 or so of them — who showed up in their finest black tie, there was one former “squad” member we were truly shocked made the cut, plus a few (hundred) more surprises on the guest list as well. (Did anyone know she was friends with our favorite 2000s hip-hop power couple? Because we, certainly, did not.) That’s not the only reason we wish Zoë Kravitz had taken us as her plus-one: There’s the reported live musical performances (as in more than one), which we can agree absolutely put your wedding band to shame; the sweet tribute to the first (publicized) date heard round the world; and the rumored party favors, which featured some of Taylor’s own lyrics (maybe not the song we’d have picked, but hey, a bop is a bop). Of course, the bride wore a custom dress by one of her favorite designers (the Easter eggs feel so obvious now) and yes, we’re still frantically refreshing Instagram for a glimpse of the gown.

Even though we got a very small, very specific peek at their party (which included a red carpet) the day after, we're probably never going to know everything that happened inside MSG. But considering how much mental space we’ve given to this event over the past 10 months since our English teacher and gym teacher announced their engagement, we’re not satisfied with just a few crumbs. So we have some very serious guesses about how the rest of the night went down:

Taylor rolled to the aisle in her old ride from the Eras Tour to an orchestral version of “Wood.” In the coming days, it will be released on all major streaming platforms as “Wood (’Til Death Do Us Part Version).”
Travis’s brother and best man, Jason Kelce, gave a toast, but was incomprehensible over the sound of his sobs. Kylie Kelce, ever the OG, remained unfazed.
The newlyweds’ first dance was to “Thinking Out Loud,” performed live by Ed Sheeran, who sat at a table next to this fellow Reputation alum.
The bride gave the DJ a do-not-play list longer than her vows. (Don’t worry, we won’t get our hopes up about her playing anything off a certain singer’s new album.)
Guests were treated to signature cocktails named after the bride’s beloved cats (we don’t have to tell you which one Mariska Hargitay ordered) and to late-night bites of chicken tenders with her favorite condiment.
We can’t explain how we know this, but we just do: Este Haim did the worm, and she did it perfectly.

What a way to close out Pride Month: The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' Layla Taylor just came out as bi. Let's all raise a dirty soda in congratulations.

If this heat has you ready to hunker down indoors and stay there, then turn up your AC and turn on Netflix, because we’ve got a mystery to watch. I Will Find You (adapted from Harlan Coben’s novel by the same name) dropped last month, but this week it started breaking records as the most-watched Netflix series debut so far this year. The story follows David (Sam Worthington), a father wrongfully imprisoned for the murder of his son, Matthew (Jasper Rainn Lawrence). Upon learning that Matthew might actually still be alive, David breaks out of prison and, with the help of Severance’s Britt Lower, sets off to uncover the truth and find his son. It’s got twists, it’s got turns, and most importantly, it’s got Milo Ventimiglia. Need we say more?

Happy Sunday. Public pools officially opened for the season in New York yesterday, and if the rain holds out long enough, you know that’s where I’ll be. It’s one of my favorite (and free) ways to spend a summer afternoon. Next, I’m going to a cheesemonger competition (yes, really) where I look forward to eating my weight in Brie. We’d like to crown Erling Haaland — the Norwegian striker who, as The New Yorker put it, “plays with the effectiveness of a sovereign wealth fund” — our MVP. Of course, there’s the obvious: He scored four of Team Norway’s seven goals during the group stage, but he's been hilariously nonchalant about his own success and whether or not they’ll beat France. (We love an expectation-managing Himbo king.) The goofy dude even encouraged his teammates to lean into the “Viking Row,” a Scandinavian twist on the wave that Norwegian fans have done in the stands, on a crowded NYC subway car, and in the middle of Times Square (bet they're all thankful for that Norwegian healthcare system, ja?).

But it’s Haaland’s performance off the pitch that has us reconsidering our stance on blond men. Yes, there’s his hair, which despite its unfortunate association with a certain Bravolebrity (who inspired who?), he seems to be extremely committed to (like, extremely). But Haaland has also been dubbed the internet’s “Hermès baddie,” thanks to an extensive collection that includes a Birkin inside a Birkin (a real thing). And something tells us he could rival Heidi Klum for Queen of Halloween. (See: The time he failed to disguise himself as the Joker and when he went undercover as Santa Claus). Plus, ever since he’s landed in the States, he’s basically cosplayed as a Study Abroad Girl™ — faking an accent, checking off NYC’s top tourist spots, even making a pilgrimage to America’s Best Deli (don’t @ us). But perhaps most impressive? He’s single-handedly convinced us to redownload Snapchat (this X post could not be more accurate). All to say, Erling, we apologize. We were truly unfamiliar with your game.

Is the will-they-won’t-they? couple of the decade finally going for it? After what can only be described as a yearslong flirtationship, Keke Palmer and Hot Ones host Sean Evans are apparently “hanging out.” For those unfamiliar with their lore: The two first hit it off when Palmer went on his show in 2017, and by her second appearance in 2021, the chemistry was capital-P palpable. Lest you assume everyone was just getting carried away, Evans straight-up admitted he had a crush on the actress during an appearance on Chicken Shop Date in 2023 (nothing like a chicken-based talk show to get the conversation flowing). But it wasn’t until their third date (correction: Hot Ones episode) last year that they finally broke the touch barrier, when Palmer asked the host for “a quick smooch to see if there’s a spark.” Apparently, as Palmer put it, the “sparks are sparking,” because earlier this month, the two were spotted having dinner together in Brooklyn — sans mics, so you know they meant business. Finally, we enter into evidence Palmer’s coy answer when asked about Evans during a panel this past week. All this has us wondering: Are they just hard-launching a hot sauce collab? Or is this really true love? TBD, but we know exactly what they should serve at their wedding.

Apologies to the soon-to-be-former British PM Keir Starmer and Larry the Cat, but the real star of 10 Downing Street is back. Do we think there’s a Mrs. Hot Podium Guy?

When Angela invites them over for dinner, things go in ways both expected (obviously, a doomed soufflé is involved) and unexpected (hint: the titular invite is not a dinner) as the, ahem, foursome navigate passive-aggressive quips, flirty come-ons, middle-aged angst, and a few major reflections on marriage and monogamy. You’ll laugh, you’ll cringe, you’ll think twice about inviting over your sexy, mysterious neighbors.

Happy Sunday. This is the week I became a Tennis Person™. Though, I’ll admit, it’s not just the matches at the US Open that hooked me. Of course, there was Naomi Osaka’s cleverly named Labubus, which take an astounding number of hours to hand-bedazzle. But also: very enthusiastic PDA between Bridgerton star Simone Ashley and a classy-looking man (if you live in NYC, you know his restaurants); a surprise Mary-Kate Olsen sighting (naturally, she put her own spin on tenniscore); Katie Holmes cosplaying as a tennis court (somehow, she still looked chic); and this painfully accurate Lindsay Lohan meme. And while my new favorite tennis tournament is ending, there are thankfully plenty of ways to make the sport my entire personality. I’ll buy this boarding-school-coded shirt, which is having a renaissance, embrace “fall’s buzziest sneaker trend,” and make these simple-yet-impressive Honey Deuce Slushies for, well, forever.

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate a season of wild weddings. Sure, there was that one (we’re still not over the Amazon party favors). But there was also Demi Lovato and Jordan “Jutes” Lutes’s Santa Barbara bash, in which the bride wore a dress remarkably similar to another Disney Channel alum’s and the only thing more iconic than the first-dance song (you know the ’90s power ballad by heart) was the celebrity DJ. That was followed by Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen’s nuptials, which, despite sharing the same planner and general location, had different vibes — as evidenced by the bride’s, shall we say, one-of-a-kind bouquet and the guest list (think: more jocks and Larry David). And, nepo baby Eve Jobs married Harry Charles in the Cotswolds, which a local said is “a perfect place to get married if you’re rich and you like horses” — so, check and check. While the duo seemingly missed the opportunity to enter on horseback, the “peak quiet luxury” affair reportedly included bridesmaids dressed in a controversial color (hint: not white) and a rogue Kardashian.

All of which led up to the season’s grand finale. No, not Instagram exec Charles Porch and Robert Denning’s Parisian extravaganza, which somehow had the best-dressed wedding party and Harry Styles (who came to the rescue of a former Real Housewife). We’re talking about the Lake Como nuptials of David Pownall and Becca Bloom — aka the Queen of RichTok, a corner of the internet as outrageous as it sounds (picture: private chef-made, roe-topped meals for her cat). After months of posts about the six-figure wedding venue, her Paris shoe-shopping trip, and the designer gifts under her “wedding tree,” the couple tied the knot on August 28, a date declared the “luckiest” by a fortune teller (sure). According to, of course, the Vogue exclusive, the multiday celebration involved a rehearsal dinner nicer than most weddings (there was even an outfit change), two Oscar de la Renta dresses for the big day, an impeccably timed burst of rainbow smoke, and what we can only assume was a massive floral budget. Taylor and Travis, hope you’re taking notes.

Another week, another Mad Libs pairing of public figures. This time, it’s Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun, who, per People, spent Labor Day weekend in Lake Tahoe as they “continue to get to know one another.” Now, if a lakeside getaway sounds major, this is probably where we should note that a source called it a “casual romance,” seemingly confirming an earlier report. Plus, another source told Us Weekly the Euphoria actress is “not exclusively dating anyone right now but is having fun” with Braun. Meaning, whatever this is, it isn’t serious — yet. As for how the two met? That’s a little unclear. A source “close to Sweeney” told People there was “something going on already” when they attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding and that “Syd was intrigued” even though Braun is “not really her type.” That said, the apparently very chatty insider added that the actress, who broke off her engagement earlier this year, is “not looking to get wrapped up in another relationship.” Because she “wants to make the most of every work opportunity that comes her way” — which tracks given that on Tuesday, the Serial Spokesmodel rolled out her estimated 11th ad campaign this year. Hopefully it goes smoother than that last one.

Is anyone doing courtroom fashion better than Cardi B? We enter into the evidence, Exhibit A, which is this very trendy, very expensive Valentino ensemble. Exhibit B: this tweed set, plucked straight from Giambattista Valli’s fall 2025 runway. Your honor, we rest our case.

Breaking news: The Paper, the kinda-sorta spin-off of The Office, has arrived on Peacock. While the title might have you think otherwise, the 10-episode series is not about Dunder Mifflin’s primary product. Instead, it follows The Toledo Truth Teller, a once-mighty Ohio newspaper, now chronicled by the same documentary crew that filmed Michael Scott and his employees. Leading the “newsroom” is Ned Sampson (Domhnall Gleeson), a star toilet-paper salesperson turned editor in chief determined to restore the paper to its former glory. But with just one qualified reporter (Chelsea Frei) and a vindictive managing editor (The White Lotus’s Sabrina Impacciatore), it’s nearly impossible. So, he recruits volunteers from other departments — leading to plenty of endearingly awkward moments, absurd confessional cutaways, and interoffice crushes.

Tired of feeling like motherhood is a never-ending competition? Same. Who’s crawling first, whose kid eats more broccoli, whose baby sleeps through the night — it’s exhausting. Which is why Alex Morgan (yes, that soccer legend) is teaming up with Bobbie to retire the “who’s winning” mentality and rewrite the motherhood “rules.” Think: less comparing, more connecting.*
